Sparta Beef sirloin marinated in a bag

Ingredients

  • 500g Sparta sirloin steak
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • ⅓ cup olive oil
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • ¼ cup fresh chopped parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic - roughly chopped
  • 4 x sprigs fresh thyme (leaves only)
  • 2 tsp dried basil
  • 2 tsp dried oregano

    Preparation

    1. Place Sparta sirloin steak into a ziplock bag
    2. Add all dried and liquid ingredients into the bag
    3. Close the bag and marinade for at least 30 minutes before braaiing
